TOP1
A modern design & engineering tool for timber structures. Optimizes a wide

New in Version 4
TOP1 is continuously updated. It is an Internet project, so a new feature
requested today might be in the program tomorrow. The Dutch version is already
based on Eurocode 5. As soon as the EuroDIN is released, this advantage will
be available for German users too.
Engineering version
An engineering subscription adds professional features to your TOP1 program.
The planeframe program solves complex problems such as the calculation of
curved, tapered and composed beam types. Shear deflection is also included,
making TOP1 one of the few specialized calculation engines for timber structures
in the world.
Subscription pricing
A subscription to the engineering version costs € 145 per year.
Each user needs his own license (the software will not start if the same
serial number is used on multiple locations); the second license costs 80%
further licences 60% of the original fee. Students can use the program
on a special edu-account for only €25 per year. Universities and
technical schools are entitled to a free subscription

Registration and download
If you are a new user, you will be asked to enter your firm, name and address
before you may download Top1. For returning visitors the form will reflect
the data you have entered last time you visited this page. You may change your
registration, (un)subscribe to the Top1 Newsletter, or download an update.
The registration will be confirmed by email, including your
serial number and start code. The program will ask you to
enter these codes when it is started for the first time.
Installation
Top1 is contained in a zip file (~450kB), or in a self-extracting exe file.
If you download the zip, use WinZip to
extract it to a temporary directory, and start install. The exe file extracts
itself automatically. Read the support faq for
a further explanation about how to download and install our programs.

If you have a problem with Top1, please look on the
support page first.
Time limit
Top1 Online has an internal time limit, to make sure you always use
the latest version. Updates will however work for a year at least
(version 4.23 through July 2004).
Engineering version
An engineering subscription adds formulas and other professional features to
your TOP1 program. Interested? A demo version is available on the
software page. You can subscribe online on the
professional page. Prices are mentioned in the
left column.
Copying
Copying and redistribution of the Top1 program is prohibited, so please don't.
Also remember that your account will be locked if we register multiple downloads
from the same address!
